Minimum wage of the EU Blue Card for 2026

The Minister of National Economy has published the minimum wage of the EU Blue Card for 2026

On October 30, 2025, the Minister of National Economy, Márton Nagy, published the minimum wage applicable to the EU Blue Card in the Official Gazette.

According to the announcement, the mandatory minimum monthly wage of a third-country national employed with an EU Blue Card is HUF 1,001,048 gross. The aforementioned wage must be met for all third-country nationals employed with an EU Blue Card. This also applies to part-time employment.
