Hungarian Immigration Requirements

Your nationality, your family relationships, the duration and the aim of your Hungarian stay are those main factors that determine which immigration document has to be obtain for you to stay in Hungary legally. You might need a residence permit, an EEA registration certificate or a residence card if you stay longer in Hungary. In case of a short-term stay, a C-type schengen visa and/or a work permit might have to be obtained, however, in some cases, you can stay in Hungary without going through any immigration application process.

Find the Hungarian immigration document that fits you the most. Check its eligibility requirements, validity period, place and fee of application, processing time, as well as, your rights and obligations, when you hold the given immigration document.
