Replacement of Lost Diplomas in Immigration Procedures

What can the applicant do if they cannot find their diploma or can only obtain it with great difficulty for the immigration procedure?

The new immigration law provides significant benefits for highly educated workers from third countries. However, Our Company is faced with situations where our clients encounter significant difficulties, or are unable at all to obtain the necessary documents proving their higher education qualifications. In these cases, it is possible to verify higher education qualifications with a certificate of the document issued by the competent educational authority of the location where the original document was issued, and with the certification of the issuing educational institution, as well as with the apostille and official translations of those documents. However, according to our experience, Hungarian authorities examine the content and evidential value of these documents on a case-by-case basis.
